Northern Ghana covers approximately half of the country’s land area and is home to around 8 million people. Surprisingly, only four ophthalmologists provide eye care services to this entire population.

We operate across the Northern part of Ghana, spanning six regions: Northern, Oti, Savannah, Northeast, Upper East, and Upper West. U
Unfortunately, this region faces significant challenges, including high rates of blindness and poverty. Despite these difficulties, it is served by a limited number of eyecare professionals.
At all our branches and outreach sites, we provide essential eye care services, subsidized cataract surgeries, other eye surgeries, spectacles, and necessary medications.
